Foundation to Diploma
We prepare students at every level — from first-grade examinations through to the highest diploma and teachers’ qualifications.
OUR CURRICULUM
Classes for ages 4 to adult across Harrow, Ruislip, Milton Keynes and Hounslow. Our curriculum is created in partnership with OEBL — the UK's recognised examination board for Traditional South Indian Fine Art.
AGES 4–7FOUNDATION YEAR
Our Foundation Year is a gentle, joyful introduction to Bharathanatyam for children aged 4 to 7. Classes focus on rhythm, basic adavus, coordination, and the pure delight of movement. No experience is required — just an open heart and a love of dance.
AGES 8–12GRADED EXAMINATION
Building on the Foundation Year, our Junior Classical stream introduces students aged 8 to 12 to the formal vocabulary of Bharathanatyam. Students learn foundational adavus, jathis, and compositions of the Vazhuvoor repertoire, working towards OEBL graded examinations.
AGES 13+ADVANCED COURSE
Our Advanced stream is intensive classical training for students aged 13 and above who have completed the graded examination pathway. Students prepare for higher OEBL grades and ultimately the Arangetram — the sacred stage debut that marks the culmination of years of devoted practice.
ALL AGESPERSONALISED COACHING
Our personalised coaching sessions are available for students of all ages who require focused, individual attention. Whether preparing for an OEBL examination or a specific performance, these sessions are tailored entirely to the student's needs and pace.
AGES 18+ADULT CLASS
Our adult class welcomes beginners and those returning to dance after a break. Designed for adults aged 18 and above, these sessions offer classical Bharathanatyam in a warm, supportive environment — combining physical discipline, cultural connection, and the meditative joy of movement. Mothers, professionals, and anyone curious about classical dance are warmly welcome.
